Small World Big Life provides assistance to under/uninsured individuals experiencing a catastrophic life event. Hope and inspiration come from the stories on the site, stories of real people who have survived and thrived after their challenges.
National Disabled Veterans - Greater Los Angeles Adaptive Ski Team
The National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic has been in existence for approximately 23 years. It's mission is to provide instruction in adaptive skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, rock climbing, scuba, adaptive air rifle and other adaptive sports and recreation activities. The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System has participated in this clinic for 18 years and have brought approximately 200 veterans from Southern California to this event.
